This might be of interest for those writers of Lesbian fiction:
Coming Together, an
organization of authors, editors, and artists volunteering their talents to
create literary anthologies to benefit various charities, recently announced a
call for submissions for their newest project. COMING TOGETHER: GIRL ON GIRL
will be a collection of lesbian erotica and erotic romance edited by
award-winning author Leigh Ellwood. All proceeds from the sales of this
anthology, and any individual titles released in eBook or audiobook, will
benefit the National Center for Lesbian Rights.
Ellwood, an author and
editor, is an Amazon.com bestseller with a collection of lesbian short stories.
SHE LOVES ME by Ellwood was also a finalist in the Gold Crown Literary Society
Goldie Awards for Best Erotica. Ellwood said she chose the NCLR as the
beneficiary for this upcoming title because of their history of compassionate
work. “It's heartbreaking to read
some of the stories [LGBT families] share, particularly those who are unable to
see their life partners in the hospital because they are not legally recognized
as married,” said Ellwood. “I have supported the NCLR in the past and hope with
this collection of stories we can give more to those who need the legal and
moral support.”
Submissions for COMING TOGETHER: GIRL ON GIRL will be
accepted through April 15, 2013, for a Summer, 2013 publication. The anthology
will be available in print and eBook formats through the major book retailers.
Interested authors may visit the official Coming Together site at http://www.eroticanthology.com for submission guidelines for this and
other open projects.
