Most of Carolyn Crane's fans known her as the author of the awesome Disillusionists trilogy featuring a hypochondriac heroine who becomes an interesting type of super heroine torn between two men who vie for her heart. But did you know Carolyn is a talented artist? Carolyn comes up with the cutest and most LOL hilarious cartoons. You may have seen your share of them over the past few weeks as she promotes Head Rush, the final book in the Disillusionists trilogy now available from Samhain.

As I said before, I blame Carolyn for the bad Gumby fetish I have. Gumby plays a very important part in Head Rush and helps Justine, the protagonist, out of many jams she finds herself in. I begged and pleaded and begged some more for Carolyn to make me a special holiday cartoon featuring Gumby and Pokey. She complied mainly because it would shut me up.
