The Men of the Hunger Games Movie Fails to Excite

Say hello to your Gale and Peeta.

Too white bred, too old and too meh for me. Looks more like a cover for Muscular Fitness magazine. Or perhaps a catalog for Abercrombie and Fitch.

I must be getting old because I rather see Donald Sutherland on the cover as President Snow.

What do you think?

Donald Sutherland as President Snow? Now there's good casting!

President Snow shirtless? ;)

Yeah...I pictured Peeta a little friendlier looking. I'm just glad I read the series before the movies. I like my idea of how they should look better.

Neither really look like how I pictured them, especially Gale. I pictured him with darker and thinner.

I am not too thrilled with the casting either. Hopefully they can act well enough to take away the fact that they don't look the way they are supposed to.

Darn I let my entertainment weekly go so I had know idea who they picked.Wonder who picked them and why out of so many good men to choose from.Your not getting old they just look bleh like 2 men who work out at a gym everyday or a Don Johnson from that old TV show M VICE cover shot like I am cool whats with the arms crossed anyways.I do not think they fit how the books made me think they should look like.

Had the same reaction when I saw it. When I heard Men of Hunger Games, I was hoping for Matthew McConaughey and Lenny Kravitz. But, I'm getting old too.

I really should get on and read these books :) But...from what I know of them the actors look a bit old that I expected...

They don't look like they are in their teens. They actually look to old to me. I am going to give it the benefit of the doubt, and hope they are good actors.

As a fan of the series, I concur with most comments regarding the two male leads (not what I expected and not really my type).. hopefully, the movie will still be good though. I'm still planning on seeing it when it comes out.

I completely agree...I mean, they aren't horrible, but I think they could have picked better actors to represent the characters.
