Want to Feel Old? Guess What Came Out 25 Years Ago This Week?

Want to feel dated? Guess what movie came out 25 years ago this week?

David Bowie was 40 years old when he played that sexy beast Jareth who can rock a mullet like nobody's business and still look very manly covered in sparkles and guyliner. (along with those tights of his!)

I think I became a woman at the age of 10 because of Bowie as Jareth.

If you were in Sarah's shoes, would you stay with Jareth and be his Goblin Queen? *KB raises hand proudly*

I think this calls for The Magic Dance...

You remind me of the babe
What babe? babe with the power
What power? power of voodoo
Who do? you do
Do what? remind me of the babe

Dance magic, dance...

I saw your tweet and was like, NO I DON'T WANNA FEEL OLD! But I looked anyway. And I DO feel old now, I do I do! Thanks lol!

BUT I did get my kidlet hooked on the movie. She loves it. So just wait till she's my age and sees how old this movie is then. Muahahaha! *rubs hands*

I always felt a little pervy with this movie, with The Goblin King pseudo lusting after the young chiclet. Heh. A fine legacy to pass on to a new generation lol. So funny how it directly intersect my disbelief with my cries of WTFery and that kind of thing in YA books, but I don't seem to care it's in this movie to a point. Double heh.

Wow I had know idea this was that old already.Guess this makes me alot older I like the movie maybe see if I can get one.I still think he is very hot looking because most of the older singers are so not rocking it out in coolness. How many 60 plus years old singers look this good now days not many.

Love that movie! I have a triumvirate of classic 80s fantasy films: Labyrinth, Legend and The Dark Crystal. I need to go watch them again!
