I saw this video this weekend and I LOVE it!! I love a man who can poke fun of himself. LOL
Indeed, Fabio has built his post-cover-model career on poking fun at himself (i.e., Nationwide Commercial).
I met him at RT/2008 in Pittsburgh. He was the special guest at the SOS Military Mixer - the room was packed with his fans. But he did not take the limelight away from the real heroes - the military families in attendence. George Small in his WWII uniform. The mom who cried over her son's death (Fabio went over to hug her). The ROTC students who served as the Honor Guard.
Fabio helped me thank each military family. After the colors were retired, he stayed another hour to meet each of his fans.
So no matter how the public makes fun of Fabio, he will always have a place in my heart for his thoughtful actions.
Kim: Fabio has sold himself as a brand that has paid off for him in many ways.
