I'm almost done watching season 3 of True Blood, and just like Mad Men, this show has me hooked. I can't get enough.
Now I know the majority of the female public at large are more into Eric and Bill, but for some reason, I become more excited when Sam Merlotte:
and that rough and tumble, scruffy werewolf, Alcide Hereaux appear on screen:
Lickable vs. playful Alcide. Who would you choose?
Did you know that Sam Trammell, who plays Sam, was nominated for Broadway's 1998 Tony Award as Best Actor (Featured Role - Play) for a revival of Eugene O'Neill's "Ah, Wilderness!"
And Joe Manganiello, who plats Alcide was on One Tree Hill for 2 seasons? Where has this man been hiding??
By now you may have seen the Sesame Street's skit "True Mud," which is a parody of True Blood. Sesame Street may be for the kids, but this show always has the most up to date skits on the latest in pop culture. They even spoof the opening credits of True Blood.
I want my own Bill monster to take mud baths with.
Get ready to laugh...

OMG OMG OMG. I'm dying over here.
Hope you don't mind, but I have to put this on my blog too.

While I ADORE the Sookie Stackhouse book series, I really don't care for True Blood- though I have watched the first 2 seasons just to lust over Eric.
I think Sookie will end up marrying Sam at the end of the Sookie Stackhouse series because from book one Sam is the ONLY male who completely fits all of Sookies wants and needs AND they are terrific friends in the books. While I love Eric, I don't believe Sookie and Eric have a future... sad to say, but I see Charlaine Harris having to kill off Eric so Sookie will be free of their blood bond. JMO

Hilarious! Thanks for sharing that link, I was on the floor. And they even gave the muppet good hair.
Me too, I love Sam. Sam is a Beta in a sea of Alphas. Poor guy.
mmm...Alcide! :)
I'll stick to the True Spud. :D
Shhh...I don't have HBO and am waiting for the discs to come out. *grin*
I just found the True Mud video via SciFi Wire. Classic! Gotta love Sesame Street.
I'm sorry Katie but I am going to have to swipe this one as well. Loved the little glimpse of Lafayette. Hilarious! LOL
