It's an actual book. But, why no sparkles?
Why do I have a bad feeling a Dr. Seuss mash-up maybe in the works? Dead Green Eggs and Zombie Ham anyone?
Dick and Jane and Vampires from Grosset & Dunlap for those 5 years and up. You can start them early on their vampire fetish.
Synopsis: When innocent Dick and Jane meet a creepy, cape-wearing vampire, the unexpected happens: he becomes their friend! Dick and Jane and Vampires borrows from the classic stories and art we all know and love, but adds an of-the-moment twist: a vampire, illustrated in the classic Dick and Jane style.

Wrong on so many levels. Really hope my 6 year old niece doesn't want this one.
Is there a scene in the book where the vampire watches them sleep?
See Jane sleep.
See Dick sleep.
See Spot sleep.
See Vampire stalk.
See Vampire suck
See Jane moan
See Jack stake
See Spot piddle in fear.
;P
I had an idea for a zombie adaptation last night in class--we were watching the silent movie version of Last of the Mohicans and the actress who played Cora was HORRIBLE. She seriously acted like a zombie. So then I started thinking, Last of the Mohican Zombies? The Herons nom on English brains? It could work.
Then you'd also be able to have a happy ending where Uncas and Cora get together after they die!
