Big Announcement: The Blogger and Author Are Finally One

It's been awhile since I've mentioned my writing. I considered myself to be three things- a reader, a reviewer and finally a writer. Blogging has enabled me to tap into my creativity and allowed myself to come up with stories that have been bouncing around my head like crazy and jot them down.

I can certainly say from reviewing, I've grown as a writer. I've reviewed for almost three years in more of a professional capacity, not counting the five years before that when I posted reviews on Amazon.

I live and breath the written word, those of others who have accomplished their dream, and of my own and those stories I have given life to. Not a day goes by where I'm not writing, wishing and hoping one day my work will be bought and read by others and (hopefully) enjoyed.

Almost a year to the day I started working on a project that was very outside the box in regards to my writing. I documented my progress in the posts called Writing Outside My Comfort Zone and Writing Gay Romance. This project was a contemporary gay romance, specifically a Lesbian Romance. During this time, I toned my craft, asked for advice, read up and learning ways I can improve.

As an aspiring author or even a published one who has decades of experience behind them, there's always room for improvement to learn your craft. Perhaps this is the start of my experience as a published author?

And so, I'm very pleased to announce my Contemporary Lesbian Romance, titled Lovestruck, has been sold to Noble Romance Publishing and will be released this May.

I will also have a pseudonym, which will be unveiled along with my cover in the near future.

Oh wow, instead of my pimping other author's covers, I will finally be able to pimp my own!

Does this mean I can have an author website now?

And to those who believe there's no way you can accomplish a dream because it's too lofty, too hard, impossible or others have told you that you have no talent or you aren't good enough, or not bright enough, think again because I'm living proof that good things can happen and a dream can become a reality.
