December was a pretty light reading month as you can see, but the majority of what I read were good reads.
I give you the non-stop overflowing TBR book shelves. In all seriousness, I have no more room for books and at any given moment they are about to fall over and litter my floor. Don't be surprised if you find me buried under a massive pile of them.

Books Read for December 2009 and the Cluttered TBR Pile
Mho has pulled out some select picks from my TBR pile that he hopes to start reading in the next few weeks. Mho is always in the mood to read a great historical romance. He has yet another new crush on an author. Beverly Kendall's debut, Sinful Surrender (Zebra) will be released in January. And it's a Victorian historical romance! You can also find Beverly at her wonderful website The Season where she has some of the most incredible people stop by to guest post. Mho hopes to be a guest there very soon!
In the mood for some down and dirty Urban Fantasy books? Mho has what you need! Joss Ware's Beyond he Night and Nancy Holzner's Deadtown are two books that have some great buzz.
And don't forget, there's always room for a little succubi in our lives. Mho just likes reading about Jackie, the boobalcious succubus who is a sex fiend. Of course Mho wants to meet her now. Watch out Jill...
Mho's on the search for his own succubus!
This officially ends my reading record for 2009. Tomorrow I'll post my top book picks and "best of" categories for 2009.

Nice month KB and Mho!
I really need to read Beautiful Creatures and Kismet!!
Just got Sinful Surrender...can't wait to read it!!
Don't we all have these toppling shelves?
Succubi sheep? Very popular in Scotland, I imagine...
Sooooooooo looking forward to Proof By Seduction. Like you wouldn't believe. Great list!
Ah, the overloaded TBR shelves, relieved only by the overloaded ebook reader...
Mandi: Your next homework assignment is to read Beautiful Creatures. Kismet is a hot sheik romance. Nom.
Serena: Oh good! I am not alone! :)
Jill: If Mho turns into a incubus, since he's a dude and all, I am sending him to you because he is already a horny SOB.
Anime: I can't wait to see what you think of Proof. I really love your reviews.
Chris; Um yeah I have an ereader but for some reason I love reading the hard copy in my hands. I can pet it, rub it... hee.
I've been on a bit of a YA jag. I'll have to check out Beautiful Creatures!
I have The Assignment sitting in (electronic) my tbr pile. Must get to it!
You always have the best advice on the new authors, KB. Will have to cruise over to Beverley Kendall's site.
Hi Katie :)
Thanks for the fun post. I loved the MHO pictures and your selections of books read. *doffs hat in respect at your voracious reading*
Here's to an amazing 2010!

I have BEAUTIFUL CREATURES on reserve at the library and can't wait to get it!
I was glad to see I wasn't the only one who was horribly disappointed in DRACULA: THE UNDEAD by Dacre Stoker. Great idea but bad execution.
KB - I am seriously concerned about the state of those there TBR shelves. Obviously you need a seriously sexy engineer to come in and make sure everything is sound :)
