Lady Jane's Salon is a wonderful reading series dedicated to the romance genre where romance authors read from the current releases. Yesterday I went and guess who came along? Or rather I should say, hid in my bag and popped out suddenly when he heard there were $5 mojitos and a room full of women.

Anthea/ Dee Davis/ Dianna Love Snell

Mho snuck up on stage to practice for when he is asked to do a reading in the future. His writing project is top secret! I don't even know what it is. I'm afraid to ask.
Mho Fho of course!

Lady Jane's is a test run for Mho for when he will go to RWA Nationals next week. Yes, I am bringing Mho with me. Surprisngly, I didn't get many strange looks last night.
This month three great authors read:
.
Anthea/ Dee Davis/ Dianna Love Snell
Anthea Lawson is the married writing team read who wrote Passionate (Kensington), the nominee for this year's RWA Rita award for Best First Book. Anthea was there since her husband Lawson had to hop back on a plane home. But as you can see, Mho kept Anthea company. .
Dee Davis read from A Match made on Madison (St. Martin's Press) and Dianna Love Snell read from Whispered Lies (Pocket). They both have great reading voices. And to honor the late great historical romance author, Edith Layton, her daughter Susie spoke about her mother and the fond memories she had of her and the times she went to all those RT conventions.
Mho is a real lady killer as you can see:
.
.
Mho getting friendly with Leanne Renee Hieber. (Leanna asked for Mho to come. I think she has bad crush on him.)
Megan Frampton and Mho very cozy together.
Even Ron Hogan from Beatrice.com got in on the sheep action!

KB/Barbara Vey/ Dianna Love/ Stacey Agdern
Barbara Vey who reports and is a blogger for Publishers Weekly was there. She had her video camera rolling and interviewed some of the guests. Her topic was, "What Makes A Hero?"

Yours truly was cornered... ahem asked what she thought. Check me out at the 1:09 mark. My mind went totally blank!
Fun was had by all and Mho and I left after drinking a few mojitos and some great conversation.

If you were asked, what three requirements would you say makes a man a hero in your eyes?

AWESOME! SO great to see you, and my mad crush Mho, at the Salon! Love the pictures. Particularly sneaking up on Ron.
Looks like King had a great time. He's a real ladies man. Love you in the video.
Great answer KB! Just goes to show you that everyone sees heroes differently. I love it.
I think your answer was a good one. MUCH MUCH better than what I could come up with even watching the video. Even now, I'm thinking.. what makes a hero? Umm.. stuff.
Fantastic photos! I'm guessing Mho is now rearing (LOL!) to go to RWA Nationals?

Tricky! *thinks* Loyalty definitely! *thinks harder* Compassion and...not sure of the third one. Honesty?
Thanks for turning out for last night's Salon. Maybe next time I'll get to cuddle up to Mho.
Mho is such a flirt. ;-)
Mho is a tart by the looks.. lol
